The National Exhibition Construction Center (NECC for short) was established in 2010 and officially came into operation in August 2011 in association with the announcement of the general construction planning of Hanoi capital to the end of 2030 and vision to 2050 organized by the Ministry of Construction and Hanoi People’s Committee.

With an area of 2.94 hectares, located on the main road of Thang Long Boulevard, in the territory of Me Tri commune, Trung Van commune, Tu Liem district, Hanoi, NECC is a place for exhibitings and exhibitions on Architecture and Planning of Hanoi and localities across the country. NECC is located in a very convenient location, about 5km from My Dinh Stadium, about 10km from the center of Hanoi.

After 11 years of establishment and development, NECC has become an ideal venue specializing in organizing events, exhibition activities, propaganda, dissemination and information provision in the field of Architecture, Planning, Building Materials, Real estate,… of the Construction industry, as well as other important events in politics, culture, society, tourism, art…

NECC is the first exhibition place in the country with a modern and unique tablecloth model system including: Model of Hanoi inner city in 1873, Model of the current Hanoi center (model number 2, approx. 1,000 m2); Model of Hanoi Capital Construction General Planning to 2030 with a vision to 2050 (model number 3, about 120 m2); other models, tablecloths; Especially the gallery of Vietnamese traditional architecture with details, models simulating Vietnamese traditional architecture through periods,…

The Exhibition Center is also the place where the Ministry of Construction regularly organizes conferences, seminars, tutorials, and dissemination of the Construction Law and the work of the Construction industry. NECC is also the venue for many major events in the field of architecture and construction planning such as: Vietbuild International Exhibition held 2-3 times a year; Hanoi Gift Show – a trade promotion event organized by Hanoi Department of Industry and Trade, which is an annual event.
