In which, coal revenue reached 80,3 trillion dong, up 22% over the same period. State budget contribution was estimated at 17.5 trillion VND, up 13% over the same period.
Implementing the Government’s policy of “Adaptiveness and flexibility”, Vinacomin has made great efforts to overcome difficulties, be creative, proactively develop new production strategies, and make better use of the State’s preferential policies and investment projects to remove difficulties, maintain production and development.
The change of management method, construction and adjustment of production and business plans in line with actual conditions helped the amount of raw coal reach 33.53 million tons, equaling 102% over the same period; coal consumed 38.7 million tons, equaling 106.4 percent over the same period in 2021.
In addition, keeping pace with the “wave” of digital transformation and constantly promoting automation has helped TKV save human resources, reduce intermediate labor stages, cut costs, and save money. ensure income for workers. Currently, the whole group has 94,064 employees, down 470 people compared to the beginning of the year; in which the underground block reduced 28 people, the open-air block reduced 230 people, the remaining units reduced 212 people. Average salary 14.42 million VND/person/month; in which coal production is 15.03 million VND/person/month.
“Sprinting” to complete the year-end target

On a strong growth momentum, in the fourth quarter of 2022, TKV strives to produce 10 million tons of raw coal, 40.5 million tons for the whole year, reaching 103.6% of the plan; coal imports 1.6 to 2 million tons, the whole year 4.7 to 5.1 million tons, reaching 100% of the plan; coal consumption reached 11.16 million tons, the whole year reached 47 million tons, reaching 109% of the plan…
Mr. Le Minh Chuan – Chairman of the Board of Members of TKV Group asked the units in the group to prepare for the 2023 plan; focus on peeling land, digging pits, preparing resources and production areas for 2023; maintain safety in production, reduce occupational accidents.
To achieve the above goals, TKV will focus on solutions to balance coal production and import in the fourth quarter of 2022, meeting the coal demand of thermal power plants from the beginning of 2023. Besides, the corporation continues to monitor the world coal price movements; manage coal prices for domestic consumers according to the market mechanism, taking into account price stabilization.
