Dr. Dang Van Kien
PhD Vice Head of Underground construction and mining
Hanoi University of Mining and Geology
Dr. Van Kien Dang is the Deputy Head of Underground and Mining Construction Department, Construction Laboratory Manager of Hanoi University of Mining and Geology (HUMG). He is a main lecturer, he has been a thesis supervisor of 03 Master. He also is a thesis supervisor of 02 Master and 01 Ph.D student. He is main author of 01 reference book printed at LAP LAMBERT Academic Publishing GmbH&Co.KG, Germany (2011) about researching Solutions to Ensure the Effective Excavation of the Drifts: By The AM-45 Roadheader at Dongvong Coal Company (Anglais). He published 11 papers in Web of Science (WoS) and Scopus (first author of 6 papers). He also is the author of 28 papers in National Journal (first author of 16 papers) and 11 papers in Proceedings of International Conferences (first author of 06 papers), 25 papers in Proceedings National Conferences (first author of 20 papers). His specialized training is in the technology of Underground and Mining Construction. Hindex: 4 (excluding self-citation). He was the head of 01 University-level research project, 02 Ministry-level research project, 01 TKV group-level research project. He was also the main participant of 06 Ministry-level research project and 02 TKV group-level research project. His H – index is 4.0. He has certificate of Merit “Bang khen Bo truong” from the Minister of Education and Training in 2018 and 2021. His main direct research is Structural Dynamics, Vibration Analysis, and Finite Element Model.
Mr. Shane Domaschenz

Mr. Shane Domaschenz is an accomplished mining engineer with industry experience spanning more than 20 years. He has mine planning industry experience with BHP in open cut coal, underground coal and open pit iron ore. Most recently he has worked over 10 years with software developers RPM and Deswik. He has a passion for software based planning innovation and optimisation.

Dr. Le Tien Dzung

Dr. Tien Dung Le is presently working as lecturer in Hanoi University of Mining and Geology, Vietnam. He obtained his PhD degree in Mining Engineering from UNSW Sydney, Australia. He has paticipated in mining industry for more than 10 years and has published more than 20 research papers in rock mechanics and tunneling and underground space.

Eng. Tran Van Thanh
Head of Planning and Technical Department
Phuoc Son gold company limited
Eng. Tran Van Thanh graduated from Hanoi University of Mining and Geology in 2011. He completed Manager program mining and mineral resources in Germany in 2014 and has actively participated in international mining conventions in VN and abroad. Thanh has over 10 years of experience in underground mining and is currently the Technical Services Manager for Phuoc Son Gold Company.


Assoc/Prof. Dr. Nguyen Anh Tuan

Assoc/Prof. Dr. NGUYEN Anh Tuan graduated from Hanoi University of Mining and Geology (HUMG) in 2002. He completed PhD program mining in France in 2015 and has actively participated in international mining conventions in VN and abroad. Tuan has over 19 years of experience in open pit mining and is currently the Assoc/Prof. PhD for Department of Surface Mining, Mining Faculty, HUMG. Main approaches in scientific research: Application of suitable mining technology for open-pit mines (Mining technology for deep open-pit coal mines, open-pit ore mines; quarries, clay mines); Modelling of the rock mass and discontinuity structure in 3D to support safe and effective open pit mining (Applied informatics in mining).

MSc. Hoang Thi Xuan
GAVAQ Solutions
Ms. Hoang Thi Xuan is presently working as Head of Project Department in Metallurgical – Mining Equipment and Consulting Technology JSC. She obtained her Engineer Degree in Mining Construction Engineering from Hanoi University of Mining and Geology and currently studying Master of Hydraulic Engineering Construction in Irrigation University. She has participated in mining for more than 5 years. She has published 2 papers and building National Standard about Tailings Storage Facilities and designed about 10/120 TSFs in Viet Nam.
