Earth Hour 2022 – SHAPE OUR FUTURE | 20:30 – 21:30 – 26th March, 2022
25/03/20222022 is the 13th year Vietnam has participated in this campaign, during those 13 years, it has become more and more widespread. From 6 provinces and cities participating for the first time in 2009, up to now, 63 provinces and cities have simultaneously joined hands and responded to this campaign. This is not only an event to turn off the lights for 1 hour on the last Saturday of March, but also a time for the community to look back on the reality of the Earth.
In the mining industry in general and the mining industry for mineral enrichment in particular, sustainable development not only means mining and processing minerals to meet the needs of current social development but must ensure the preservation of the environment and the habitats not destroyed together with preserving resources to ensure the long-term development of humanity.
The mining industry as well as other industries, for long-term and sustainable development, requires appropriate solutions. So, what is the development trend of the industry?
- Mineral extraction not only meets current needs but also takes into account the progressive trend of science and technology in the field of using new technologies and alternative materials.
- Search for new mineral deposits, hidden mineral accumulations.
- Develop mining technologies to develop maximum natural resources, minimize impacts on the environment, develop technologies to exploit deep mineral deposits with complex structure and distribution.
- Research on recycling and reuse of minerals that are from solid waste (CTR)
Together with Mining Vietnam 2022, let’s join Earth Hour 2022 to work towards sustainable development for our future!
